about

Forellentanz is based on field recordings from quiet places and peaceful moments. Pads and basses come from soft synthesizers, especially the Repro-5 and the beloved CS-80. Clicking and crackling drones were created by granular synthesis, which breaks down the audio samples into extremely tiny parts. The album contains also fragments of older vocal and Telecaster recordings from the artist's hard drive.
